"This real-time tutorial covers creating a quick illustration from a random character generator. I talk about things like adding color to a black and white image, clipping masks, composition, character design, and more.

The entire illustration took a little over 3 hours to paint, so this is more of a "quick" illustration sketch rather than a completely finished illustration. The goal is to show you how to quickly block in your painting. Once everything is in the right place, you can determine how long you want to spend rendering your painting."
