Hello Skillshare students!

I’m Morr, I’m an animator and filmmaker. I’m the founder of Bloop Animation, an animation learning blog / YouTube channel.

In the past year I have made an animated short film and documented the entire process with detailed video tutorials and articles on the website. Today, especially for Skillshare students, I’m bringing all the information and content of my work process together as one complete course for free.

In the course I’ll take you step by step through the entire creation process. From coming up with ideas to exporting the final film.

I’ll explain how I modeled the characters, how I rigged them, my animation process, color correction, editing and even sound design.

Fusion 360 is a cloud based CAD system growing in popularity and functionality. This course is an introduction to Fusion 360 for people who have used SolidWorks in the past.

This course will take a look at Fusion 360 from the eyes of someone very new to the tool with long history using other 3D CAD tools, specifically SolidWorks. In this course, Fusion 360 for SOLIDWORKS Users, you will learn how to model a basic toggle clamp with an introduction in how to create extrusion, cuts, sweeps, and revolves. First, you'll see the toggle clamp parts and how they are assembled together. Next, you'll see the creation of the linkage, lever, and end piece. Finally, you'll look at updating the toggle clamp based on some markups received after a design review. When you're finished with this course, you will have a foundational knowledge of Fusion 360 as well as an understanding of how to overcome potential pitfalls and frustrations migrating from SolidWorks.

With Batch Renderer, you can render several scenes in DAZ Studio. This plugin loads the listed scenes and renders them one after another. Optionally, you can set the frames to render and the image size for each scene. The image type and the output path can be selected. All other render parameters are used as they are saved with the scene.

For the output path, either the scene path, a path from the DS render library, or any custom path can be used.

Optionally, you may select an image to be added as an overlay to each image after it was rendered. This can be useful to automatically add a signature or watermark to your renders. The overlay can be placed centered, at a border, or in a corner, with an additional offset e.g. to leave some space to the borders.

Scene lists can be saved and loaded, so you can add scenes to the list as you finish them, and then start the batch render while you are not working at the computer.

And, while faster computers and advanced graphics cards have made high polygon budgets the norm, there are still reasons to want or need lower poly versions of the same high quality models. This item is not owned 100% by DAZ and therefore cannot be included in any sale, this includes the 30% PC Discount, we apologize.

Game Developers - will love being able to create lower poly versions of customized DAZ 3D figures which can be exported directly into popular game engines.

Creative Artists - will love being able to add and manipulate more characters in a scene without impacting performance. Once the scene is set, the higher poly models can be used for rendering.

Animators - will love being able to add more characters to their animations, improve performance, and reduce production times.

Decimator for DAZ Studio allows users to create any number of lower polygon versions of a high resolution model known as Levels of Detail (LODs). Use LOD features in DAZ Studio to automatically switch between models depending on factors such as distance from the camera.

If you encounter "can't find path..." error when running the .exe file, check the Installation_serial.txt for windows fix.

The Alembic format is used in production pipelines involving many of the top 3D modeling/animation applications.

With this exporter plugin for DAZ Studio you gain the ability to use DAZ Studio assets, as well as “Vertex Exact” animations, in your favorite 3D modeling/animation applications.

One possible pipeline where the Alembic exporter will be useful is when doing the following:

Animate a figure such as Victoria 6 in DAZ Studio
Export to Alembic format
Import Alembic file into preferred 3D application
Set up surfaces, lighting and cameras
Render

The animation of Victoria 6 will deform exactly the same in the target 3D application as it did in DAZ Studio due to the way Alembic handles animation.

This course will show you all the capabilities within SOLIDWORKS' Fillet feature, with examples of when to use them, and the pros and cons of each.

Simple circular fillets taught at beginner level SOLIDWORKS cannot create the complex geometries needed from ergonomic or molded part design. graphMate is a graph editor. Use it as a companion to keyMate for the ultimate in traditional keyFrame animation in DAZ Studio, or use it as a standalone product.

A graph editor allows for adjusting the timing and values of keys. The simple select and drag mechanism is intuitive and powerful. Certain animations techniques can be very difficult any other way, but a graph editor makes them easy. One such example is to adjusting the keys while the animation is playing.

Visual is better. Want to see why keyframes are doing what they are doing? Ever been irritated by overshoot and not understood why? See what is happening to your animation curve at a glance.

graphMate responds to the selection of properties in keyMate and selection of properties from DAZ Studio's Parameter's Tab.
