For over a decade, DaVinci Resolve has been the go-to tool for colorists working on Hollywood films, commercials, and professional corporate video. Now it's available to anyone on a Mac or PC. The latest version, DaVinci Resolve 12, combines its high-end color grading tools with a full-featured nonlinear video-editing environment. You can edit, color correct, color grade, and render a video project without ever leaving the program.

In these tutorials, professional colorist Patrick Inhofer guides viewers through the basics of using DaVinci Resolve 12. Get a look over Patrick's shoulder as he touches on key features in Resolve, while introducing the lingo every colorist needs to understand the program and the workflow. He shows how to import footage, keep it all organized, edit clips in the timeline, and start color grading your project: applying primary and secondary corrections, vignettes, looks, and Power Windows. He also shows how to target corrections with shapes and keys, match shots, and create "hero shots" to jump-start discussions with directors, clients, and colleagues.

Most of the tutorials are compatible with both DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Resolve Studio, the paid version of the software. If you have already watched DaVinci Resolve 11 Essential Training, check out "What's New in DaVinci Resolve 12" to brush up on the updates, as well as the new chapter on DaVinci 12.5.

Topics include:

Understanding the DaVinci Resolve interface

Jonathan McFall uses speed painting techniques in a set of steps you can easily follow to create similar concept art of your own. There are no photographs used, only paint brushes. The idea behind it is to set down a series of ground rules, which if followed, will allow you to create an amazing painting. After following along with how to create this painting, you’ll be able to apply the same rules and theories yourself. Jonathan will help you with concepts such as compositions, the rule of thirds, the Fibonacci spiral, and several rules to do with color, light, and perspective. Each important step is covered that you’ll need to know so that you’ll be able to achieve something similarly artistic.

3D Models/Characters/Creatures
Requires Unity 5.3.4 or higher.
--------------------------------------------------
Flying Eye Pack PBR brings you a staple of any quality RPG. This eyeball with tentacles is an emitional creature, even with just his eye to show it! The animations are detailed and realistic, and include plenty of dialation of the iris and more. Blend Shapes allow you to customize the Flying Eye even more, adjusting the physical mesh to your liking.

CUSTOMIZE TEXTURES
Use sliders to adjust the look & feel of the monsters. Easily change colors, add special effects like dirt, mud, blood, ice, snow, moss & more. It's fast and allows you to create any number of looks that perfectly suit your game. Most texture maps are 2048x2048.

Use the "Texture Creation" scene to quickly modify the look of the models, and then use the "Mass Export" tool to export all the Procedural Materials into game-ready Standard Shader materials with a single click.

MESH MORPHING
Exposed Blend Shapes allow for massive mesh morphing and customization. You can save settings in prefabs or script the shapes for in-game customization or randomization of your characters. Now you can spawn completely random enemies that all look different from each other.

CUSTOM RE-MIXABLE MUSIC
Music has been composed specifically for the characters we produce. The tracks are separated into layers and set up for use with the Unity Audio Mixer. Use this to mix your own tracks, and create the perfect sound for your game levels, and export all your mixes with a single click into game-ready .wav files!

A "Composers Mix" is also included if you do not want to mix your own track, and you can easily export the included mixes as well.

Listen to the included mixes in the Youtube Video below!

SOUND EFFECTS
Many of the animations now feature matching sound effects, along with a simple audio controller script that makes playing them and controlling things like volume, volume by speed etc easy. Nothing brings characters to life like high quality matching audio.

CONCEPT ART
Extra High Resolution images are provided in layered photoshop format for customization. Use these on your Steam page, your manual, your website & other advertising material to bring your game to life before you have gameplay to show.

ANIMATIONS
• Attack 1
• Attack 2
• Attack 3 Loop
• Attack Idle
• Attack Walk
• Cast 1 Loop
• Cast 2
• Death
• Go Alert
• Got Hit
• Idle
• Idle Break
• Quick Turn Left
• Quick Turn Right
• Taunt
• Walk
• Walk Backward

PARTICLES
Custom particles (magic spells etc) are included whenever appropriate. The package also includes our entire "Magic Spells & Particles Pack", so you can create your own magic spells.

PBR
Our models use real PBR values, not half-baked or made up PBR. We start out with real world materials and you can adjust from there. Maps included: Diffuse | Normal | Roughness | Metallic | Height | Ambient Occlusion

LEGACY SHADERS
Don't be fooled by the "requires Unity 5" message! The textures our system exports work with legacy shaders the same way any other character you already have does. You'll need Unity 5 to set up the textures, but once exported, you can bring them in to ANY Unity version and they'll work.

POLYCOUNT
We provide multiple LODs from High Poly (good for cinematics) to Low Poly (great for mobile). However, I suggest you use Simplygon or Mantis Online (google it, it's free) for creating your own LODs that fit your project/platform.

You don’t have to be a fashion designer. It’s simple and easy.
Our technology is based on the art of sewing and patternmaking (making the blueprint for a garment), which we believe is the only way to realistically express garments. You don’t need a fashion design background to create clothing using Marvelous Designer. It is surprisingly easy and simple with our intuitive tools. Build your skills by mastering our online curriculum.

Easy-to-use software that just makes sense.
Designing ‘true to life’ virtual garments is easy and straightforward with our intuitive user interface and tools such as arrangement points and pins. Marvelous Designer saves you from guessing how clothes should fit in real life. Textural coordinates are packaged along with your patterns for simple data translation and use. Edit textures, fabrics and its physical properties via preset our library to accurately simulate onto your characters without costing countless hours.

Augmented capabilities with your exsting software tools.
Across modeling and animation, Marvelous Designer can easily import and export data between software including Maya, 3DS Max, Softimage, Modo and ZBrush.
Major game studios like EA and Ubisoft as well as the animated film studios behind Avatar (Weta Digital) and Total Recall (Double Negative) have taken advantage of our software’s compatibility.

Authentic simulation for amazing animation.
Bringing your characters to life shouldn’t take a lifetime. Traditional modeling and sculpting techniques require hours of work for each wrinkle, bend, and fold and don’t guarantee convincing results. Marvelous Designer’s animation cache functionality with high-polygon modeling makes it possible to capture the realistic movement of clothing when draped onto moving characters, whether they are running, jumping, or twirling midair.

Revolutionizing 3D virtual clothing.
Marvelous Designer’s novel pattern-based approach allows not only for beautiful graphics, but also compiles your garments’ data to be reused, revamped, and refreshed again and again.

Pattern Creation and Editing
Our expansive pattern design feature lets you easily create and edit rectangular, circular, or any other polygon shaped patterns. In addition, we provide intuitive interfaces such as moving point/segment in parallel/perpendicular fashion, moving point/segment via input value, or dividing the segment in proportion.
