Drawing Books Compilation

Here it is guys— A really extensive compilation of drawing books!

Credits to the original uploaders, I also threw in a few more books(see below) in order to compensate for some that I didn't download properly from MEGA. At that time, I was downloading in batches of 20 and some were corrupted so I didn't have time to check which ones they were. I compared the file counts and saw that I missed somewhere from 4-7 books... Sadly, the next day I went back to download the missing files, the link was dead.

Some of the books inside the collection aren't in English, but I figured that they can still be useful for some people so I kept them and labelled them in their appropriate language: ES→Spanish; DE→Deutsch; RU→Russian; CHN→Chinese; JP→Japanese
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What kinds of books are in the collection?
There are books teaching you the fundamentals, and there are some that goes in-depth in a specific subject... I've decided to segregate them into 2 large categories: One is called "Essentials" which includes general tips like composition, drafting, perspective and some other useful theories... anything that is ESSENTIAL FOR DRAWING. The other one is called "Specific Subject" which goes more in-depth about things like Animals, Figure Drawings, Manga, Animation, Comics, Landscape, Fantasy and Science-Fiction... etc. There are also some books on Graphic Design but since they're more of an icing on the cake, I decided to put them in the Specific Subject section.
Inside some "Specific Subject" folders there may be a "References" folder that doesn't include any explanation but just images. In the Figure Drawings folder there might be some books that have NSFW contents and titles... (I won't name them but I think that you'll know why). These were in the original collection and I think that they'll be useful in case you need references so I decided to keep them!
It was a pain to arrange the files since there were some of them(especially the manga-related ones) which didn't have the publisher/author's name and inaccurate titles. I had to dig the internet for a few hours to get all the missing names that I could find and fix the weird titles(luckily I could read Chinese and Japanese...).
e.g. How to Draw Yaoi → (Kaneda Koubou, Tsubura Kadomaru) Figure Construction of Bishounen; How to Draw Manga → (Graphic-SHA) Super Manga Composition Sketching - Atmosphere, Mood, and Surface Rendering; How to Draw Girls → (Koji Nishino) Drawing Manga-stylized Sketches from Photographs...
Well, things like that... Oh and I kept the original file naming convention if you're asking why the author's names are in parenthesis. That's that.
There were a lot of books from the Graphic-SHA collection inside of the original MEGA folder, but since they were missing a lot of books of the same collection I decided to hunt the remaining books I could find(about 20 more books). Graphic-SHA is a publishing company that prints books related to manga-style drawing books. There are a few duplicates since Graphic-SHA licenses their books in CHN and in EN... the problem is that the ordering of the books aren't exactly the same thus it is why I've decided to keep the duplicates in order not to confuse people. e.g. vol 9 of CHN edition = vol 17 of EN edition. There are only a few duplicates so it shouldn't eat your data plan...
I removed the artbooks and concept art books because most of them are already on CGPeers as individual torrents, or on other trackers. The amount of artbooks inside the original MEGA folder isn't extensive enough but if anybody is interested I think that I can still upload the missing artbooks from CGPeers individually. (I doubt that there will be demands for them though)
Here are the list of games/authors' artbooks that were on the original MEGA link: Alan Lee(The Hobbit), Andy Park(God of War II), Araki Hirohiko(Jojo), Elmore(Fantasy Art), Inoue Takehiko(Vagabond), Katsuhiro Otomo(Akira), Kentaro Miura(Berserk), Mike Mignola(Hellboy), Murata Yusuke(Eyeshield 21), Nitro+Chiral(Dramatic Murder Visualbook), Takehiko Inoue(Slam Dunk).
And here is the list of every concept art books that were found on the original MEGA link:
2KSoftware(Mafia II), American McGee(Alice), Bethesda(Skyrim), Bioshock(Deco Devolution), Blizzard(WoW), Capcom(Dragon's Dogma), DaedalicEnt(Blackguards), Disney(Tarzan,Big Heroes, Frozen, Planes, Lion King, Bambi, Lady&Tramp, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid), Dreamworks(How to Train your Dragon), Frank Miller(Sin City), Software(Dark Souls II), Gary Russell(LoTR,LoTR-Fellowship of the Ring), George Lucas(Star Wars-Return of the Jedi, Star Wars-Empire Strikes Back), H.R. Giger(Alien), Hayao Miyazaki(Archives of Studio Ghibli Vol.1, Hayao Miyazaki's Image Board, Miyazaki Moebius, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighboor Totoro, Porco Rosso, Spirited Away, Jed Alger(Paranorman), Lionhead(Fable III), Marvel(X-Men, Earth), Nickelodeon(Avatar, My Life as a Teenage Robot), Nitro+Chiral(Dramatic Murder), Pixar(Monsters Inc., Toy Story), Square Enix(Metal Gear, Hitman Absolution), Valve(Half Life 2)
There were 2 comic books in the list that I've removed:
Arthur de Pins(Guilty Pleasure) and Craig Thompson(Blankets)
Arthur de Pins have a really bubbly, sexy style when it comes to drawing women as a French artist, who coincidentally I found out about him when I had an assignment on him(doing BD appreciation) a few years back in highschool. Craig Thompson have intense pen inkling skills and is worth checking also. Both of them are interesting to study from if you seek to develop your style... But since this is a drawing-book only compilation I decided not to put them up here.
And a documentary about space: (All About Space) Tour of the Universe - An Awe-Inspiring Journey Through Space
I figured that it could be useful for people if they want a reference to draw space but since it was a documentary not really about drawing I decided that it would be best not to mess with your data plans.
And there was this one book about Chinese Children in Historical Art that I removed. It is a very lengthy book about how Chinese children are depicted in the old ages and is more of an art history book than a drawing book so I removed it.
I've also replaced some books with higher resolution version that some other anons who posted afterwards such as Color & Light by Gurney(171MB→350MB).
As always, I like to keep my files organized thus it is why I organized them all in folders. Any questions?
(Now after 3 days of sleepless nights I can finally go back to normal)
Duration 3h 20m Project Files Included MP4
cmiVFX brings you "The Ultimate Guide for Maya Bifrost," taught by the leading expert in this field: Diego Trazzi. This course will explore the process of simulating liquids with the new Bifrost FLIP solver (Fluid Implicit Particle solver). Although simplicity is key when learning, this course will show you much more than the basics, it will give you a solid understanding of the theory behind such fluid solvers. Terms such as staggered grids, particle advection, and level-sets will become familiar throughout the course, and by the end of it, you will fully obtain the knowledge that is needed to simulate beautiful water, from a small droplet to a massive ocean. We have decided to mark specific sections of these classes when referring to similarities with Naiad. We think this will help those who used to work in Naiad and now want to transition onto Bifrost. For all the others who are new to this environment, we will cover everything from the ground up so we can mold you into well-educated VFX artists.
This course is for people who want to do more with the Autodesk Revit building information modeling software.
You can do a lot of great things with Revit as it ships "out of the box" from Autodesk, but there are still many tasks that are repetitive, boring, and error-prone. There are also many situations where you can be more effective and productive if you can add additional functionality to Revit.
This course will cover a wide range of topics in the Revit API. Each topic will be taught by walking through a set of C# code samples that progress from the basics to more advanced concepts.
More content will be added to this new course in the upcoming weeks. If you see a topic that you like added, just let me know and I will try to make that addition.
