cmiVFX is proud to present this very special, brand new video masterclass where we'll be working with Krakatoa and Fume to create high-end VFX shots. We'll be showcasing several techniques that can be used to apply certain artistic effects to several million particles using a variety of 3D tools. In order for an artist to truly control the effect behavior and achieve the final look he is seeking, more than one tool should be considered during the process. If we want to create suitable elements and pass certain attributes between each other for better control over the whole scene, we sometimes have to know more about the whole VFX process in order to plan the correct method of getting difficult shots done creatively in the shortest possible duration of time. This is a project-based course, which means we will use a real VFX shot to see each step of the process and effectively demonstrate how to work with a multi-million particle effect that you can create by yourself at home. Additionally, we will explain how to prepare and plan your effects from the beginning, and we will also talk about other subjects that are necessary for similar visual effects such as character tracking, accessories, and props which will help us while we're directing the effect behavior during the animation. Physically based rendering (PBR) is rendering of objects with some of material's properties being taken into account.

Metals and non-metals (insulators) reflect and scatter light differently. Albedo, energy conservation, fresnel effect, and complex structure of relief also gives its influence into visual appearance of the surface.

Insulators are materials that have a pronounced diffuse scattering and weakly expressed specular (plastic, fabric , wood, concrete, paint and so on). Due to the diffuse scattering , we can see that the red plastic is red. And due to the reflection we can see glares on the surface.

Metals (steel, iron, gold, copper, brass, silver, etc) are materials without diffuse scattering (diffusion is always black), but clearly marked with a colored reflection. Copper has a black diffusion and strong reflection of red color. Gold has a black diffusion and a bright yellow reflection. Silver has a black diffusion and bright white reflection.

1. Disable your Network card or pull the network cable.
And make sure you dont have any of those entries in your hosts file

2. Install Adobe CC Application with a serial generated from our keymaker ( do not close the keygen!).
Click on Install (I have purchased)
Click on Sign In (make sure your network connection is offline)

Accept the License Agreement and enter the serial generated from our Keygen
Wait ... When the error "Please connect to the internet and retry" shows, click connect later.


3. Launch an Adobe application (Photoshop, Illustartor etc).

4. Click on "Having trouble connecting to the internet ?"
Click on Offline Activation

5. Click on Generate a request Code
A request code will be generated. Use it with the serial you used to install your adobe application
to generate your activation code. Copy it back and Click on Activate.

6. Click on Launch or close the Window. Exit The Adobe Application

7. When installation is finished
Execute disable_activation.cmd (double click on it)
(in Vista or Win7, run it as admin if you have uac enabled)

Or do it manually
Add the text below to the bottom of your hosts file.
