I’m delighted to announce that we will be releasing a fantastic new panel that will make luminosity masks and exposure blending easier than ever. InstaMask will allow you to create and craft any mask to suit your needs with just a few clicks. And the great news is, although this is a separate panel, it will be included with Raya Pro at no extra cost.

The panel only works in Photoshop CC. We are working on a CS6 version but we do not know if it will be successful. CS6 and flash panels have very little support now and few developers have the skills neceassary to make advanced panels like this. Nevertheless, we are doing our best.


Here are a few of the powerful new features of InstaMask:

– We can create 18, 16 bit luminosity masks. These are done individually so they keep our file size to a minimum.

– Going further, we can also build these 18 masks around any of the Red, Green or Blue channels, so we have a total of 72 masks at our disposal.

– We can intersect any of these mask with each other. So we can add/subtract any mask to/from the RGB channel, for example, with any mask from the Red, Green or Blue channels, should we wish.

– We have two new point-and-click methods for developing advanced selections based on colour or luminosity. We simply click on an area of the image and a mask will be built around it. And we can refine these masks even more with + and – buttons, which restrict or loosen the selection.

– InstaMask has 3 convenient sliders which compliment a 16bit workflow, allowing us to craft our masks to the perfect selection.

– There are also a whole range of new colour masks.

– We can apply any mask to any layer. Taking this further, before applying the mask, we can test it on any layer and make adjustments as need.

– With split screen, we can use our sliders and adapt the mask, while also see the direct change on the image itself.

– With all of the apply buttons, we have more or less everything type of layer covered, so that we can apply our masks to and adjustment layer.

The blender render engine creates basic textures suitable for exporting models into other software platforms such as unity or unreal engine. Cycles render is an engine used to create the best materials and textures possible for creating beautiful rendered scenes and animations, but is less optimized for exporting, especially to game engines.

Rigging
This section focuses on the pre production stage of animations, which is the rigging of objects in your scene. Rigging is the creation of a skeleton or armature that is used to help move models in ways similar to their real world counterparts. For example an armature for a human model would allow us to control the model at the joints like puppet strings, allowing us to move our model in the same way that our bodies do in real life. We will go over how to construct a full rig with skeleton bones, control and ik bones, and the weight painting tool which will allow us to change the influence of each bone on our model.

Animation
In this section of the course, we bring our creations to life by learning how to create animations by using tools such as the timeline, Graph editor and dope sheet. We will learn about keyframes and you can use these to create your animations the quick and easy way while with the help of the graph editor and dope sheet you can change where these keyframes are used in your animation and how the keyframes interact with each other, giving you complete control other your animations. This section will also go over how to render images and animations so that you can add them to your own portfolio of work.

This is my second try at getting a torrent uploaded properly here. I have over a terabyte of stuff I've downloaded since Kickass Torrents went belly up last summer (last time I checked Daz/Poser torrent uploading still hasn't recovered anywhere, and since I found alternative sources I'm not sure it was ever as complete as it could have been anyway), and I'll upload it here in chunks if I can get torrents to upload properly.

If anyone has any advice as to how I should do the tags, and how they should be separated, please let me know in a comment.

The Modo 11 Series delivers enhanced modeling workflows, accelerated performance and improved productivity, together with extended interoperability and a more robust, reliable and accessible out-of-the-box experience.

Performance and efficiency improvements
Modo 11.0 delivers accelerated performance across a number of key areas: support for OpenSubdiv 3 delivers faster deformations; animation caching speeds up display; localized evaluation for MeshFusion improves interactivity; and instances are drawn faster. A large number of workflow enhancements also increase artist productivity, including improvements to the game exporter, the ability to duplicate elements while transforming them interactively, and new selection methods in the Item List.

Modeling workflow enhancements
Reinforcing its position as a best-in-class modeling solution, Modo 11.0 offers new MeshFusion features that include the ability to cut, copy and paste Fusion items; enhancements to Auto Retopology including a new Adaptive mode and Curvature metric; a number of improvements to procedural modeling workflows; a brush preview for painting and sculpting tools; and a new customizable Tool HUD for faster access to the tools you use the most.

Better out of-the-box experience
With a streamlined installation experience and login-based licensing; included rigs for procedural modeling; new render setting presets and better defaults that make it easier to create high-quality, noise-free renderings without specialist expertise; and an emphasis on fixing known issues, Modo 11.0 offers a better out-of-the-box experience. Other improvements include easier access to your recent projects, training videos and online help; and the ability to run Modo in safe mode for debugging purposes.
